Permitted use
You may use the local inspector to understand text you are authorized to process and use cleanup or rewriting for legitimate editing. You may not use the service to violate law, privacy, contract, copyright, academic-integrity rules, platform rules, or another person’s rights. Do not use it to misrepresent authorship or to claim that a provenance signal was verified or removed.
No authorship determination
Hidden Unicode and descriptive writing statistics do not determine whether Claude or any other system wrote a passage. The official Claude watermark status is shown separately and is not publicly verifiable by this service at this time.
Optional provider services
AI rewriting is available only when configured. Provider availability, output, limits, and terms can change. You are responsible for reviewing rewritten text, checking facts, preserving required attribution, and deciding whether the result is appropriate for your use.
No warranty
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Text processing can produce incomplete or unsuitable results, especially for complex scripts, structured data, code, legal text, or specialized formatting. Always review a diff and keep your own copy.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for decisions, submissions, publication outcomes, detector classifications, lost formatting, provider errors, or indirect losses arising from use of the service.
Changes
These terms may be updated when features, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is published.
